This Privacy Policy explains how Ekvira Formè Atelier (“Ekvira”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles personal information when you visit ekviraarts.com, create an account, contact us, or purchase our products. By using the website, you acknowledge the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Account and identity information
When you create an account, we may collect your name and email address. For email/password accounts, we store a securely derived password hash and never store your readable password. If you continue with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, name, verified email address, and profile picture. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar, or Google password.
Order, delivery, and communication information
When checkout is available, we may collect your delivery address, PIN code, WhatsApp or phone number, email address, ordered products, selected sizes, shipping choice, payment status, and shipment tracking information. If you contact us, we also receive the information included in your email, phone call, WhatsApp message, or other enquiry.
Payment information
Payments are handled by an authorized payment provider. We may receive a transaction reference, payment status, payment method category, and limited billing information, but we do not store complete card numbers, CVV values, UPI PINs, or online-banking credentials.
Device and usage information
Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. Cart contents are stored in your browser’s local storage on the current device and are not treated as a server-side order until checkout is completed.
2. How we use information
- To create and secure customer accounts and authenticate sign-ins.
- To maintain carts, process orders, collect payment, arrange delivery, and provide tracking.
- To answer enquiries and provide customer support.
- To prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and technical problems.
- To comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, and other legal obligations.
- To improve our products, website, and customer experience.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use Google sign-in information for advertising.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use an essential, secure session cookie to keep signed-in customers authenticated. The cart uses local storage so selections can remain after a refresh. You can remove local storage and cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may sign you out and clear your cart.
4. When we share information
We share information only as reasonably necessary with service providers such as:
- Cloud hosting, database, storage, security, and website infrastructure providers.
- Google, when you choose Google sign-in.
- Payment processors, including Razorpay, when processing a payment.
- Shipping aggregators and couriers, including Shiprocket and selected delivery partners.
- Email, customer-support, analytics, accounting, and fraud-prevention providers.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or our rights, or in connection with a business restructuring. Service providers may process information in India or other jurisdictions under their own security and privacy obligations.
5. Retention and security
We retain account information while an account is active and retain order, payment, tax, and support records for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above or required by law. Authentication sessions expire automatically and can also be ended by signing out. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or raise a privacy concern. Some records may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons.
7. Children’s privacy
The website is not directed to children who cannot legally enter into a purchase. A parent or guardian should supervise any use by a minor.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
9. Contact us
